OS Samsung and Intel will compete with Android for automakers - CNews.ru

OS Tizen, which is jointly developing the Samsung and Intel, can become a significant player in the niche OS for automotive infoteymenta. It is now known about the interest of the platform and the new partnership with Samsung manufacturers such as Toyota and Jaguar Landrover.

Hardware and software solution called Russian Hill, localized for the Russian market with the support of Intel, support services “ERA GLONASS”, voice control, includes navigation with real-time traffic information, a radio, a media player, a telephone application and the application for social networks, calendar, and browser.
