YouTube on Android is about to be able to work offline – BBC News

Google updated the screenshots to the YouTube app on Google Play. They can detect the presence of a new feature – mode to offline. However, for general users, it is not available yet.

The offline mode allows to cache video on your smartphone to view after it without an Internet connection. Journalists believe that the updated version of the application is already being tested on smartphones employees Google.

While it’s unclear whether Google posted screenshots specifically to draw attention to future innovations or just a mistake of one of the company’s employees. In any case, millions of users of Android-devices will be glad of such innovations.
