Google introduced Android 5.0.2 firmware for the Nexus and Nexus July 2013 10 – 3DNews

Back in December last year, Google unveiled the official firmware image for the Wi-Fi version of the tablet ASUS Nexus July 2012 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Nearly a month were released more appropriate firmware for the two tablets series of reference devices Google: Wi-Fi version of the ASUS Nexus July 2013 and Samsung Nexus 10.

Official images of the latest build mobile operating system available on Google Developers. In both cases, the assembly is listed under the name LRX22G – exactly the same released earlier for the Nexus 7 2012. The appearance of the official firmware (with which you can manually update your device to the latest build OS) means that in the coming days will be followed by the deployment of updates to Android 5.0.2 over the air.

Apparently, the update Android 5.0. 2 will go at least another on the Nexus tablet 9, which so far has received only update Android 5.0.1. May get new clothes and equipment Nexus 4, 5 and 6, but so far none of the smartphone Nexus series has received proper updates.

It should be noted that the version of the Nexus 7 tablet with support for cellular networks (as of 2012, so and 2013) are still satisfied with firmware based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It is not clear what caused such a delay and whether Google plans to update these options popular Nexus-tablets. But the developers of unofficial firmware is already engaged in a problem – for example, recently published nightly-build CyanogenMod 12 based Lollipop for July 2013 Nexus LTE.
