Razer Forge TV – game console running Android 5.0 and technology broadcast games from your PC – iXBT.com


 

The company Razer recently set quite reasonable prices on some of its devices, which previously would expect from a manufacturer of gaming peripherals rather expensive it was impossible. For example, Nabu bracelet valued at only $ 100.


 
 

The same $ 100 will be asked for a new device Razer – game console Forge TV, is running Android. Forge TV is an extremely compact solution dimensions 105 x 105 x 17 mm, which is roughly comparable to the dimensions of modern smartphones.


 
  
 
 

Inside the box is hidden platform with 805 Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM a nd 16 GB of flash memory. Also, the device is equipped with adapters Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 ports and Ethernet, HDMI 1.4 and USB 3.0. By the way, as the OS supports Android 5.0.


 
  
 
 

But the console boasts greater capacity than similar devices. Aside from the usual run of games, Forge TV streaming technology gave the games from your PC – Cortex: Stream. Like the ability to have the console Nvidia Shield, but it is required for the GeForce GTX 650 or a more recent model. Razer also promises that the “streaming” in Full HD resolution will be available for owners of Radeon HD 5000 and GeForce GTX 580 or newer models.

As already mentioned, the cost of the console will be $ 100. But for this amount the buyer receives corporate gamepad Serval. Separa tely, it will cost $ 80, but for $ 150 you can buy a set of Forge TV and manipulator. The latter, by the way, is equipped with a mount for smartphones. More for $ 130 Razer offers to purchase a set Turret, consisting of a keyboard, coincident with the surface of the mouse, and, in fact, most of the mouse. Sales should begin in the current quarter.
