Cortana for Android will be released in July – BBC

Microsoft has released a client for its voice assistant Cortana on the Android platform in July this year. This was reported in the company’s official blog dedicated to Windows.

In July, will be a beta version of Cortana for Android. It is designed to help users get acquainted with the voice assistant before the release of Windows 10 and later and test a bunch of smart phone and desktop, which Cortana will be built.

In addition to the version for Android Microsoft also plans to release Cortana for devices operating system iOS. However, the timing of release applications the company is not specified.

The release of Windows 10 Microsoft has planned for July 28. All users of previous versions of Windows, 7 and 8 / 8.1, will be able to upgrade to the new system for free.
