Google launches Android 7.1 for developers http://json.tv/ (press release) (Registration)

Smartphones Google Pixel and Pixel XL are the first gadgets that come to the market with Android software 7.1 Nougat, but you can also sign up for Android 7.1 Developer Preview to get the beta version of the software, which can be the first to try on your device, if you have other products from the Nexus line.

Google has released a preview version 7.1 for Android smartphones Nexus and Nexus 5X 6P, as well as tablet Pixel C.

next month Google will roll out Android beta 7.1 for other devices in the lineup, including the Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, and General Mobile 4G.

There are several ways to get a preview. You can sign up for the Android Beta program and wait for the updates over the air, or you can download the program from the developer’s site.

If you are not satisfied with the performance of your device after installing the beta, you can always roll back to the old version and out of beta test.

Google launches Android 7.1 for developers

Recall that Android 7.1 includes several new features such as support for seamless updates that are downloaded and installed in the background while using the device and also option Night Light that gives various hues to your screen at night to remove the blue light, preventing you from sleeping.

Other updates include a new API that allows developers to create shortcuts to certain functions of the application, which you can attach to the screen or to create access by long pressing on the icon. There is support for keyboards with stickers, animated gifs and other images, and the ability to take shortcuts in circles.

All new features will be available on older devices. For example, they will not come the personal assistant Google Assistant will not be available unlimited backup of high quality photos and videos with Google’s new Photo or camera app for Pixel.
