Omate Yumi is a small robot with Android OS, support voice assistant, Alexa, and a five-inch touch screen – iXBT.com

the Voice assistant Amazon Alexa got to robotics. The company Omate has introduced a small home robot Yumi, who is running Omate RAI 1.0 based on Android and features the support for Alexa.

As with other devices with data, it allows the robot to sense voice commands and questions and respond appropriately. However, Yumi — robot is more in appearance than in essence.

Also inside Yumi is hiding a Quad-core SoC, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, megapixel camera UltraPixel, and the battery capacity of 3500 mA•h in addition, the device features a speaker, microphone, touch pad for volume control, USB ports and HDMI and backlight. Robot height is 297 mm.

the Cost Omate Yumi — $ 350. In selling the device should appear in March 2017, but until then launched a campaign to raise funds on the site Indiegogo.
