Lenovo introduced Yoga A12
Lenovo has introduced a notebook-transformer Yoga A12, which the media have already nicknamed “budget version of the Yoga Book”. Unlike most transformers, the device is designed to work with Android, not with Windows. The price of the laptop which will be available on the company’s website on 8 February, will make $ 299. Price Yoga Book, presented in August 2016, starts from $ 499.
Yoga A12 is a touch screen with a diagonal of 12.2 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (HD). Laptop cover folds 360°, that is, it folds in the opposite direction, allowing you to work with it as a tablet. Yoga A12 created on the basis of 4-nuclear processor Intel Atom x5 processor with a clock frequency of 2.4 GHz. The amount of RAM is 2GB, constant – 32 GB.
Yoga A12 Stereo speakers support multichannel sound format Dolby Atmos. The battery capacity of 10,500 mAh, the manufacturer promises 13 hours of battery life. The laptop is presented in steel-gray and Golden-pink color. The device size is 279.4 mm x 205,74 mm x 10.9 mm and weighs 998 grams. On a laptop running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Yoga A12 got the touch keyboard Halo. Thanks to this, the thickness of the device is only 5.4 mm at its thinnest point. Yoga Book, presented in 2016, also equipped with a keyboard Halo is the first Lenovo laptop with a touch keyboard. But the keyboard Yoga A12 cannot be used as a panel for creating graphical objects, in contrast to the keyboard of Yoga Book. Respectively, complete with Yoga Book is a pen drawing, which is deprived of Yoga A12.

However, like Yoga Book, Yoga A12 budget supports technology which allows the computer to learn the typing style of a particular user and give hints depending on its features.
When you create a Yoga A12 was used components that the resource PC World calls “obsolete”. We are talking primarily about the processor Intel Atom X5, codenamed Cherry Trail, which is now winding down. In may 2016, Intel has decided to replace the Atom X5 more new chips in the Celeron and Pentium, code-named Apollo Lake, which are used for the production of tablets-transformers, running Windows.
